Pollinator Garden

Originally designed by Valarie Nichols, an active member of the Orchard Guild who is also a beekeeper, the pollinator garden was created utilizing the hugelkultur method of mound gardening and has become a popular attraction. Watch butterflies go through their lifecycles, hummingbirds, and numerous pollinators “busy at work”. There are covered stations with benches and rain barrels that collect water for gardening, as well as informational signs with QR codes provided by Tucker High’s Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) class, a picnic table and more.
