We have a lot going on in our parks this fall! Here are some ways you can get involved:

1. Monday, September 14: Henderson Park Master Plan review and resolution will be on the agenda for City Council meeting this Monday Sept. 14.  Please consider joining the meeting at City Hall (7pm). See here for more information about the Master Plan for Henderson Park.

2. Thursday, September 17: South Fork Conservancy's Creek Rising event celebrating the natural beauty of the South Fork of Peachtree Creek.

3. Saturday, September 19: Free workshop to learn about the dos and don'ts of composting -- and how to build your own compost bin. Sign ups are required. See here for more information about composting!

4. Saturday, September 19: The Optimist Club is holding their free Kids Day in the Park.

5. Survey open until September 30: Montreal Park Master Plan feedback is still needed; make your voice heard!

6. Secretary for Friends of Tucker Parks still needed to record meeting minutes and keep our group organized. This volunteer position requires approx. 2 hours per month of your time. If you’re interested in volunteering or have questions, please email info@tuckerparks.org.
