About Friends of Henderson Park

Updated: Oct 12, 2021

Henderson Park is located in Tucker, Georgia and consists of approximately 120 acres. Park amenities include soccer fields, tennis courts, a playground, picnic shelters, hiking trails, Lake Erin, the Native Plant and Wildlife Walk and the Henderson Park Community Garden.

Many other groups invite you to join them in the park:

50+ Walks is a walking group in Tucker. Organized by PEDS, a non-profit advocacy group that promotes a safe walking environment, 50+ Walks brings the community together to walk! They hold weekly walks in different areas of Tucker, geared toward people who are over 50, but free and open to anyone in the community. They focus on building community, safety for walkers, and exploring Tucker in new ways. All abilities are encouraged and welcome - the group always sticks together.

Walking days and routes change each season. Connect with them to improve your health the easy way and meet like-minded people who also want to walk: Like them on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/50walkstucker/ to get announcements of future walks and see photographs from some recent walks, or email kemberli@peds.org to get weekly updates about upcoming walks.
