Scouts Help Clean Up Henderson

ree

We had a super group of scouts from troop 876 and 129 who joined us on September 15th to pull invasive stilt grass along the paved NPWW path at Henderson Park. The project was under a very short turn time due to the fact that this particular grass was reaching the point of dropping seeds, so any that was removed was a huge improvement to the long term health of the Park.

Many thanks to Scoutmaster Jeremy Pullen who gathered the troops; just have a look at the impressive stack of bags that were filled in just two hours.

Henderson Park LOVES our girl scouts and boy scouts and all they do to help us as major Friends of Henderson Park!
